Meet the Mill Creek Chiropractic Staff

Chiropractic Assistant, Danielle Smith
Introducing Danielle Smith

I first received Chiropractic care when I was just a few hours old. Subluxations can occur during the birthing process. My father was a Chiropractor and I grew up with the knowledge and benefit of Chiropractic. When I was sixteen I worked for my father for four years, then moving down south I took a job in a different field for a year.  During that year I decided that Chiropractic is where I was meant to be. I applied here at Mill Creek Chiropractic in February of 1991 and have been here ever since. I love to see people get such great results from Chiropractic and I view Dr. Gilbertson, co-workers and patients all as family. My son Justin has regular maintenance adjustments to keep him aligned also.

I enjoy spending my time with my son Justin and our guinea pigs, with family, camping, and scrap booking.

Chiropractic Assistant, Jamie Faldborg
Introducing Jamie Faldborg

I first sought chiropractic help at the age of 13 when I started getting intense migraines. I was helped by chiropractic at that time but at age 19 I was injured in a snowboarding accident and needed additional care for my back. I went to several different types of doctors for this injury only to find out that chiropractic care is what helped me the most.

Before getting hired on to Dr. Gilbertson's staff I had previously worked at a chiropractic office in Snohomish, the same doctor that had helped me with the Snowboarding injury. I was referred to work for Dr. Gilbertson by friends of our family that are patients of his. They thought his clinic would be a good fit for me and that I would be an asset to the office.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We do things like camping, snowmobiling, sea-doing, shopping and of course watch movies.

Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Mill Creek residents - Chiropractor Mill Creek Dr. David Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Do nerves actually get pinched?
Chiropractors recognize two types of nerve disorders involved in vertebral subluxation complex. The least common is a pinched nerve that diminishes nerve supply to an affected organ or tissue. More common is the irritated nerve (facilitative lesion) which overexcites nerve communications to an affected organ or tissue. Chiropractic care has been shown to help with both types.
